Backups & Disaster Recovery

For the servers hosted at the Tk20 Data Center, Tk20 will be responsible for backing up all the servers and the disaster recovery in case disaster happens. Details of the backup process of the servers hosted at the Tk20 Data Center can be found in document titled Backups at Tk20.

For the servers hosted at a university data center, the institution will be responsible for backups. Engineering Services will work with you to provide backup scripts that are necessary for backing up the things necessary for recovery of Tk20 software in case disaster happens. Engineering Services will provide full documentation of the script, its execution, frequency, configuration and backup location, etc. Engineering Services will work with you to recover the system from disaster.
