Keynote Presentation: Responsibility in an Era of Rapid Change
The Tk20 2010 User Conference was held June 21 through June 23 at the Omni Austin Hotel in downtown Austin. A welcoming reception for Tk20 users was held on the evening of Monday, the 21st. The 22nd started with a breakfast followed by a Keynote Address by Dr. Randy Hitz. Dr. Hitz described major changes taking place throughout the world. He addressed how educators can and must act responsibly to address these changes, while simultaneously maximizing the potential for all students.
Conference sessions covering three major themes followed:
- System Adoption at the Unit: Challenges and best practices
- System setup for Data Collection: Best Practices for setup and use of the system's assessment capabilities
- Evidences and Reporting for Accreditation
