Call for Participation
Best Practices for Assessment, Reporting, and Accreditation
Omni Austin Hotel, Austin, TexasJune 21-23, 2010
Tk20 is excited to collaborate with our users for the Tk20 2010 User Conference. User participation will be an important part of the conference and we would like to invite our users to share their experiences on their use of the system for assessment, data collection, and reporting leading to accreditation.
The 2010 conference theme is "Best Practices for Assessment, Reporting, and Accreditation." We've taken this theme and broken it into three thematic strands. We invite all Tk20 users to submit a brief abstract for his/her proposed session. Sessions should aim to address one of the thematic strands, which are:

Topic suggestions:
- Discussion of processes or strategies you have developed that might help other institutions
- Discussion of how you approached your initial use of the system and what you might have changed based on the experience
System setup for data collection: Best practices for setup and use of the system's assessment capabilities
Topic suggestions:
- Examples of Rubrics, Portfolio Templates, Field Experience Templates or other items within CampusTools and how you have changed them or improved upon them based on your experience with the system
- Discussion of how you have changed or improved assessment practices using data collected through the Tk20 system.
