Program-based assessments are customized for your standards, rubrics, portfolios, and transition points.
HigherEd can be completely customized for all activity related to course or program-based assessments. Students can create artifacts such as essays, Website URLs, work samples or any other artifact in use at your college. These artifacts can be tailored by program and the system can be customized to apply the entire set of outcomes, standards, and rubrics used at the college.
Students can create and submit outcomes-based reflective portfolios that are assessed by one or multiple faculty members, individually or collaboratively. Additionally, all data related to portfolios can be viewed as customized reports. Students can export their portfolios to a CD-ROM for their personal records or for use in job interviews.
With HigherEd, each program can be configured to have its own set of transition points. Each transition point can have a checklist associated with it, documenting the steps each student must complete for progressing beyond the transition point.
All data related to program-based assessments can be combined with data imported from other systems such as the Student Information System, Praxis scores, survey responses, and more. This provides faculty members with a comprehensive view of the work and progress of each student in the unit.
