HigherEd imports data from the Student Information System to automatically set up courses for instructors. It offers one, central, easy location to manage all courses. Instructors can communicate with their students, post assignments, give quizzes, complete assessments, manage grades, post syllabi and other documents, and manage teaching assistants – all from one location.

All course-based activity is managed through easy-to-build templates. Once built, templates can be reused for other courses in the same or other semesters. Course-based information is never reset and data from any previous semester is instantly available to instructors.

All data associated with course-based activity including standards or outcomes-based student artifacts, reflections, instructor feedback, field experience activity, and assessments can be combined with other data in the system for comprehensive reporting. Additionally, all course-based material can be included in student portfolios.
