A full-featured course management system makes instruction easier.

CampusWide includes a sophisticated Course Management System, for full online course management, assessment, and grading. Import of data from the Student Information System provides an automatic setup for each instructor with course and section names, and the full roster of students.

The system includes a variety of media for communication. Instructors can post their syllabi and course-related handouts for direct access by students, communicate with them synchronously and deliver instructions through ‘chat’ sessions, establish ‘message forums’ for topic-based communication on multiple tracks, or communicate directly through emails.

CampusWide provides an array of instruments for outcomes-based assessment. Instructors can post assignments, projects, quizzes or exams to their students, assess them through observation of performance, send them surveys, or have them build electronic portfolios. All assessments are performed using flexible, configurable, assessment instruments, and assessments carry over directly into a grade book, for full grade management. Data from any previous semester is instantly retrievable.

Libraries and templates allow sharing and reuse of outcomes and assessments. Course-based reports provide instructors with full insight on the performance of their students. All assessment-based data is aggregated for use in overall reporting.
